-
- : 1) There are six BNC type connectors on the back

-
- Actually BOTH are RGB. The one with the arrow pointing into the circle is
- the connection between the computer and the monitor. The three RGB with
- the arrow pointing out of the circle are for pass-thru so that you can
- send the same information to another monitor. When I was at IBM we didn't
- use that feature often - in fact I personally never quite understood the
- need, but then again I was in software - not hardware.
-
- : There is also a dip switch with three positions
- : (0, 1 and 2). What does this do?
-
- Sorry, those I don't remember :-(
-
- : 2) Does the monitor scan at 15khz? Or 70? Ideally,
- : I'd love it to work with Super 72 (which I use
- : with my Microvitec 1438)
-
- If I remember correctly 15Khz was Commodore's own, I'm pretty sure that
- the 5081 (and 6091) don't handle that speed.
-
- : Any help much appreciated. And before you ask, yes
- : I did 'phone IBM!
-
- If I remember correctly, the 5081 was withdrawn from support a couple of
- years ago. You might get a better answer on comp.unix.aix where IBM RS/6000
- hardware/software is discussed. I'm sure someone will have such a monitor
- and will help you out.
